About the Event
We welcome Dr. Alexander Lang to share his journey, tips and tricks to landing a career in pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. He will share practical and actionable advice, including roles for medical-science students who are actively searching for a job. Advise will be shared on how to create a more effective and cogent CV and resume, properly network via LinkedIn and adequately prepare for your interview. Learn from Dr. Lang's personal experience about how to succeed in early career development and avoid common pitfalls when starting off your career.
Dr. Lang is an experienced Medical Director who has over 17 years of experience managing Medical Affairs teams. He has worked with a broad range of positions within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry including Medical Information, Pharmacovigilance, Marketing and Medical Affairs. He obtained his PhD in Pharmacology and Toxicology at Queen's University.
